Scenes From An Occupation
A traditional black and white documentary record of Occupy London’s camp at St Paul’s. Despite the multitude of photographers and media present in the early days of the occupation there are still very few coherent bodies of work about this first public protest of the 21st century. The author choose to shoot in black and white and on film to acknowledge those classic documentary story tellers from history and to give the project a foot hold in that history. This is not a definitive political view nor does it cover every moment of the camps existence, it does however provide an evocative pictorial testimony to a moment in UK and world protest.
